What to Know About Women’s Basketball Today
1. A Record Number of Fans Attended WNBA Games 📈
Provide more seats, and they will come. The WNBA drew a league-record 3.79 million fans during the 2026 regular season, up 20% from last year. (Sports Business Journal)
WHY IT MATTERS: The growth is spread around the league, with more than half of teams increasing attendance from last season. Arena size is also a significant factor in that growth. The 25 games moved into larger arenas saw a 40% attendance increase compared to games played in their usual venues. Teams near the bottom in average attendance tend to play in arenas with lower overall capacity, putting a cap on their attendance potential. Give more fans access, and they’re showing up.

2. The Dream Are Moving Downtown 🏟️
Case in point. The Atlanta Dream will play all of their 2027 home games at State Farm Arena after signing a multi-year agreement with the downtown venue. The move takes them out of Gateway Center Arena, their primary home since 2021. (Atlanta Dream)
WHY IT MATTERS: The Dream have sold out every game at the 3,500-seat Gateway Center Arena for the past three seasons, so demand has clearly outgrown the building. They’ve also sold out State Farm Arena eight times during that stretch, drawing crowds of more than 17,000. Moving there full-time gives thousands more fans a chance to attend while creating much more room for the Dream to grow ticket revenue.

3. Unrivaled’s Season 3 Schedule Is Here 📅
Who’s booking the tickets for us? Unrivaled has released its full Season 3 schedule. After opening the season on the road in Los Angeles and Boston on January 8, the league returns to its Miami home base at Sephora Arena on January 19. Team assignments and individual matchups are still to come.
WHY IT MATTERS: Fans can finally start planning for Miami games. Unrivaled Basketball Club subscribers get first access to VIP packages beginning today at 9 AM ET, while general tickets go on sale October 9 at 4 PM ET.

Your K-Cup Has Been Sitting in a Warehouse for Months
That grocery store pod? It was roasted long before it hit the shelf. Coffee starts losing flavor within weeks of roasting — which is why your morning cup tastes flat, no matter how nice your machine is.
Angelino's does it differently. A third-generation roaster in Los Angeles, they roast, grind, and seal every pod in-house for peak freshness, then ship it to your door within days of roasting. The difference is the first thing you'll notice: real aroma, real flavor, no bitterness.
Mix and match from 50+ specialty coffees, teas, and flavored blends — all Keurig®-compatible — and save more with every box you add, up to 34% off at 12+. Order once whenever you're running low, or subscribe for an extra 5% if that's easier. Entirely up to you.
New customers get 15% off their first order — applied automatically, no code needed.
OVERTIME ⏱️
Not Insecure: The actor, producer, and entrepreneur Issa Rae has joined Unrivaled’s investor group.
New Gamecock: Four-star recruit Taylor Brown has committed to the University of South Carolina.
D’ouble-double: Wilson now has 28 career playoff double-doubles, moving her into second place in WNBA postseason history behind Alyssa Thomas’ 31.
🗳️ Poll Results from Yesterday: We asked if you were surprised that Satou Sabally is returning to Unrivaled, and most of you were. 79% said, “Yes, I didn’t expect it.”
