Rise & shine, WNBA fans! ☀️

Happy Finals Game 6 day! Atlanta will fight to keep its season alive against Golden State this afternoon. Watch at 12:30 pm ET on USA and Peacock.

What to Know About Women’s Basketball Today

1. Six Teams Have a Shot at the No. 1 Pick 🎰

Come mid-November, one struggling WNBA team is about to be very, very happy. The league announced that the 2027 WNBA Draft Lottery will be held Sunday, November 15, at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. (USA Today)

WHY IT MATTERS: A No. 1 pick can change a team's future. Just look at what Caitlin Clark brought to Indiana in 2024 and Paige Bueckers to Dallas in 2025. Five of the six teams in the lottery didn’t make the playoffs this season. The six teams vying for the number one pick are Houston (formerly Connecticut), Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, Toronto, and Washington. With another promising draft class on the way, these teams have plenty to get excited about.

2. Atlanta Sells Out Game 6 👏

WNBA fans are dedicated. Even after Thursday's WNBA Finals Game 6 was moved to 12:30 p.m. ET, the Atlanta Dream announced a sellout at State Farm Arena. Roughly 17,000 fans are expected for the Finals matchup against Golden State. (Bleacher Report)

WHY IT MATTERS: A weekday afternoon tip-off is tough for fans, especially with the schedule change coming just days before the game. But fans found a way to fill the arena anyway, reflecting just how passionate and excited they are for this series.

3. Unrivaled Announced Four Roster Changes 🔁

Unrivaled is making different kinds of moves this week. Aliyah Boston will miss the 2027 season as she recovers from a knee procedure, while Kate Martin and the league have mutually agreed to end her contract. Toronto's Isabelle Harrison and Golden State's Kaitlyn Chen are joining on one-year deals. (Unrivaled Basketball)

WHY IT MATTERS: Boston's absence is disappointing, but taking time to recover now could help protect her health for the next WNBA season. Martin's departure is a surprise, while Harrison and Chen earned their opportunities after strong seasons with their respective WNBA teams.

I Almost Threw Out My Keurig. It Wasn't Broken.

Every cup from my Keurig started tasting weak, flat, stale — so I unplugged it and stuck it in a closet. Then I learned the dirty secret of grocery store K-Cups: by the time a pod reaches your kitchen, it's usually spent months going from factory to warehouse to truck to shelf. The flavor oils are long gone. Some brands even over-roast to hide it.

The fix wasn't a new machine. It was fresh pods from Angelino's, a family-owned L.A. roastery that roasts, packs, and ships within 3–5 days — straight to your door, from 39¢ a cup. Over 1,000,000 happy customers. 50+ flavors, no subscription required, and 15% off your first order, applied automatically at checkout.
