Official reviews are going to Jersey. The WNBA announced it will launch a centralized Replay Center beginning with the 2027 season. The new system will support replay reviews from one location in Secaucus, New Jersey, leveraging the NBA's model, with the goal of making reviews faster and more accurate. (WNBA)

2. Team USA Adds Four New Faces for 3x3 🇺🇸
Next women up. USA Basketball updated its 3×3 roster, adding Taylor Bigby, Mikayla Blakes, Aerial Powers, and Madison Scott to its roster for the remainder of the 2026 FIBA 3x3 Women's Series. The next stop is Tokyo this weekend on August 1 and 2. (USA Basketball)

3. WNBA Closes Aces Investigation 🚪
The WNBA has officially closed its years-long investigation into the Las Vegas Aces over alleged salary cap circumvention after outside counsel found insufficient evidence to support the claims. (The Bleacher Report)
WHY IT MATTERS: The investigation centered on $100,000 payments from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority in 2024 that raised concerns across the league. While the investigation and threat of discipline did little to slow down the Aces - the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority provided the same payments again in 2025 - the incident impacted the league’s new collective bargaining agreement, which now includes stronger penalties to help prevent unapproved financial compensation in the future.
