1. DiJonai Carrington Nears Return 🛡️
Sky fans may have something to smile about soon. Chicago guard DiJonai Carrington could make her season debut as early as today after missing the first half of the season with an injury. (Chicago Sun-Times)
WHY IT MATTERS: Carrington was one of the team's biggest offseason additions, but a lingering foot injury has kept her sidelined until now. The Sky currently sit in 13th place with a 9-18 record, so her return comes at an important time. 2. College Basketball Is Less Than 100 Days Away ⏳

3. Janelle Salaün Is Having a Record Season 🎯
Her threes just keep falling. Golden State's Janelle Salaün made her 69th three-pointer off the bench on Wednesday, setting a new WNBA single-season record. (Golden State Valkyries)
WHY IT MATTERS: Salaün needed just 28 games to break Shanna Zolman's previous record of 68 threes off the bench, which stood for nearly two decades and was set in 33 games. Her shooting has helped make the Valkyries' bench the league's highest-scoring unit and has been a big reason Golden State sits near the top of the WNBA standings.
